What we do

Hazel Glen Care is a nursing agency that matches vetted registered nurses, enrolled nurses and carers with families and facilities across Gauteng, South Africa, for nursing agency staffing, dementia care and general home care. Using our website, client portal, staff portal or admin dashboard means you agree to these terms.

Accounts

Client and staff accounts are set up by our team, not self-registered. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at info@hazelglencare.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Bookings and shifts

Submitting a care request through the client portal is a request, not a guaranteed booking — we confirm availability and match a suitable carer before a shift is scheduled. Carers accept or decline shift offers through their own portal; accepting a shift is a commitment to attend as booked.

Attendance verification

Carers may be asked to confirm their location and identity by photo when clocking in and out of a shift. This is used solely to verify that booked care was delivered, and only happens with the carer's consent.

Fees and invoicing

Charges for care are billed to clients per the rate agreed for each shift, with invoices issued through the client portal. Carers are paid based on approved timesheets. Specific rates and payment terms are agreed separately and aren't fixed by this page.

Acceptable use

Don't use our website or portals to submit false information, attempt to access accounts that aren't yours, or interfere with the platform's normal operation.

Limitation of liability

We take reasonable care in vetting and matching carers, but we can't guarantee an uninterrupted service or a specific clinical outcome. To the extent permitted by South African law, Hazel Glen Care isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or portals.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
